Janet Kennehan, Michael J. Vlaiku engaged to wed

XAUSTINTOWN -- The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Janet L. Kennehan and Michael J. Vlaiku is being announced by the bride-elect's parents, James and Rita Kennehan of Austintown.
The prospective groom is a son of Michael and Linda Vlaiku, also of Austintown.
An open ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Aug. 6 at St. Joseph Church. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.
Miss Kennehan, who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in education at Youngstown State University, is employed by Giant Eagle.
Mr. Vlaiku will graduate in December from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in professional writing and editing. He is employed by Sherwin Williams.
