XCol. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will be served with meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $5.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.
XCroatian Home of St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners will feature your choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Proceeds benefit the club's building fund.

XEast Fairfield United Methodist Church Youth will be selling pie sales from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Casaloma Flea Market, 48400 State Route 14, New Waterford. Apple, cherry and peach pies will be sold at $1.50 per slice or $10 for a whole pie. All proceeds will help sponsor the Youth Blast 2005 to be held Sept. 24 at Crestview High School. Advance orders are taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 1 Friday, based upon availability. The cost is $3.50 a dozen for potato and kraut and $4 for cottage cheese. Lunches are served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.
XTod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave., N.W., Warren, will hold its last fish fry from 3:30 to 6:15 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $2.50 for children. Meals will be delivered to Tod and Buckeye apartments by calling the church office before 3 p.m. at (330) 393-3859.
