YSU students plan to marry in mid-July

XCAMPBELL -- The engagement of Chelsea M. Gozur, Penhale Avenue, and Joshua D. Bascom, Bright Avenue, is being announced by the bride-elect's grandparents, Rich and Peggy Novak, Coitsville Road, and the prospective groom's mother, Gina Bascom, also of Bright Avenue.
Miss Gozur is a daughter of the late Jodi L. Blue and stepdaughter of the late Rodney Lee Blue.
Todd Bascom, Stafford, Va., is the father of the prospective groom.
Vows will be exchanged during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 16 at St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception to be held at St. Lucy Hall.
The couple are pursuing degrees at Youngstown State University. She is majoring in psychology while working at Things Remembered in the Southern Park Mall in Boardman as a customer-service clerk. He is a computer science major and is employed as a manager at Arby's in Struthers.
