Second-quarter dividend
YOUNGSTOWN -- United Community Financial Corp., holding company for The Home Savings and Loan Co. and Butler Wick Corp., has declared its second quarter dividend of 8.25 cents per share, payable on June 15 to shareholders of record May 31.
Home Savings operates 36 full-service banking offices and five loan production offices throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania. Butler Wick has 14 office locations providing full-service retail brokerage, capital markets or trust services throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

Goodyear Co. awarded 2 military contracts
AKRON -- Goodyear Tire & amp; Rubber here recently was awarded two military contracts. The Air Force Materiel Command's Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, awarded a $163,500 contract to the company for pneumatic tires.
The Army Tank-Automotive & amp; Armaments Command in Warren, Mich., gave the company a $97,809 contract for tires and tubes.
$98K contract awarded
CANTON -- Army Tank-Automotive & amp; Armaments Command in Warren, Mich. has awarded a $98,210 contract to Detroit Diesel Corp. of Canton for nonaircraft miscellaneous engine accessories.
