Fall wedding set for Miss Doherty and Mr. Restrepo

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The engagement of Jennifer Doherty, 8035 S.W. 107 Ave., Apt 206, Miami, and Juan Restrepo, son of Marta Restrepo, both of 7740 S.W. 95 St., Miami, and the late Jesus Restrepo, is being announced by the parents of the bride-elect, John and Trish Doherty, 63 N. Hazelwood Ave.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows in an open ceremony at 3 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Church of the Epiphany in Miami. Invitations will be issued for a reception at the Dadeland Marriott, also in Miami.
Miss Doherty graduated from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and received her master's degree in exercise and sport science from the University of Florida, Gainesville. She is pursuing a doctorate in exercise physiology and educational research at the University of Miami and is employed by Florida International University in Miami as the academic program director of the athletic training education program.
Mr. Restrepo is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He is employed at C3TS, P.A. in Coral Gables, Fla., as a project engineer.
