ANTIQUE SHOWS
XThe 43rd Antiques Show & amp; Sale at Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road S.E., Warren, will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature the newly acquired "Historical Documents Collection" of Trumbull and Mahoning counties, dating back to the late 1700s, and appraisals by Ed Arrich, who assisted with the "Antiques Roadshow" TV program. CARD/BINGO PARTIES
XThe annual Spring Fling, sponsored by St. Paul's Altar Guild, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Hall, state Route 170, New Middletown. Admission is $5 and will include refreshments, bingo, cards, door prizes and raffles.

FUND-RAISERS
XBig Brothers & amp; Big Sisters of Mahoning Valley will have its 22nd annual Bowl for Kids' Sake Bowlathon from 4 to 7 p.m. April 23 at Camelot Lanes, Boardman. Participants need to secure a team of six players and collect pledges of $75 per member. All bowling and shoe rentals are free. Food will be provided from more than 20 area restaurants, and more than 100 door prizes and up to 10 grand prizes will be given away to those bringing in the most pledges. SPECIAL EVENTS
XNorth Star Patchwork Center, 192 Haseltine Ave., Youngstown, is seeking experienced volunteer quilters to assist with its Underground Railroad Quilt. The project is an opportunity to learn the history, design and patterns used as signals to the slaves who traveled the Underground Railroad north to freedom. The quilt honors the memory of Harriet Tubman, the slaves and those who helped them.
