Struthers grads inducted into hall of fame



STRUTHERS -- The Struthers School Foundation for Educational Excellence will honor two individuals with its distinguished Hall of Fame Award.
This year's honorees are Laddie J. Fedor and Anthony J. Lariccia. Both are graduates of Struthers High School and have been lifelong supporters of the community and school system.
The award is given to individuals who have been involved in the Struthers district and have gone out of the way to make a significant difference in the lives of others. The individuals are distinguished in their chosen professions, dedicated to service with integrity and have been role models for youths.
The Struthers School Foundation for Educational Excellence is a nonprofit organization, governed by a board of directors, formed to support expanded educational opportunities for all pupils in the Struthers schools. The foundation's mission is to identify and provide funding for educational programs that go beyond the responsibility of the board of education and the resources available to the school system.
The hall of fame banquet will be held at The Embassy on April 16 at 7 p.m. The keynote speaker will be Dr. David Sweet, president of Youngstown State University.
