REGISTRATION \ 2005-06 school year

NEW CASTLE, PA.
NEW CASTLE-- The New Castle Area School District will have kindergarten registration at the Harry W. Lockley Kindergarten Center.
For children with the last names beginning with "A" through "G," registration is April 13. For children with last names beginning with "H" through "P," registration is April 14. For children with the last names beginning with "Q" through "Z," registration is April 15. All registrations will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
A child must be 5 before Oct. 1 to register.
Parents or guardians must bring the child's birth certificate, immunization record and Social Security card to the center.
MCDONALD
McDONALD -- Roosevelt Elementary School Principal Anthony Russo said that parents or guardians of any kindergarten-age pupils still not registered for school next fall should contact the school from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The first kindergarten screening was held March 21, when 23 pupils were screened. The second kindergarten screening for Roosevelt Elementary will be held by appointment during school hours April 18 for children registered for kindergarten for the fall.
