Church to hold revival
YOUNGSTOWN -- Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave., will hold a spring revival Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m. each day.
The featured speaker will be the Rev. J. Louis Felton, a revival evangelist from Kalamazoo, Mich. He has been in the ministry for the past 43 years, having been called to his mission at the age of 5. The Rev. Mr. Felton has been a leader in the movement against youth violence and is president of the Congress of Christian Workers of the General Baptist State Convention of Michigan. He also is president of the North Side Ministerial Alliance of Kalamazoo, a position he has held since 1998.

Rosary cenacle scheduled
YOUNGSTOWN --The Shrine of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted and the Holy Rosary Prayer group, 517 S. Belle Vista Ave., will hold a rosary cenacle at 6:30 p.m. April 6.
Devotions will include recitation of the rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet during the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Refreshments will follow in the social hall.
Mass will celebrate feast
NORTH JACKSON --The National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 N. Lipkey Road, will celebrate the Feast of the Divine Mercy with a mass and devotional conference at 11 a.m. April 3.
The Rev. Louis Guardiola, who is with the Fathers of Mercy Generalate in South Union, Ky., will serve as the spiritual director for Mercy Sunday, which is set aside the first Sunday after Easter as a day of prayer and fellowship.
For those attending the conference, a Swiss steak dinner will be served at noon. The cost of the dinner and conference is $10. The dinner also be will available for those not attending the conference from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

Canfield church plans family night, dinner
LIBERTY -- The public is invited to a free family night at First Christian Assembly, 3243 Cardinal Drive.
The event, held in conjunction with the Cardinal Kiddie Kollege and Safe House Ministries, will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The night will include a free spaghetti dinner and feature free child care and activities for children. There also will be free parenting workshops for parents of children age birth to 19. Kenyan bishop to visit
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Living Word Christian Center, 21S. Mayville Road, will host Bishop Thomas Muthee from Kenya on April 3-5. He will be the featured speaker at the 10 a.m. service and the 6:30 p.m. services each evening.
Bishop Muthee is well known from the video, "Transformation 1," which sold millions of copies.
Muthee established a Bible school resulting in the addition of 400 churches in three East African nations. In 2003 and 2004, the bishop was a featured speaker at a major European conference in Sweden that brought together leaders of the church and business.
