Mr. Battaglini, fiancee to wed in mid-July

XThe engagement of Gina DiMatteo, 1021 Blaine Road, Monaca, Pa., and Giuliano Battaglini, 49411 Foxwood Lane, Unity, is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect, a daughter of John and Gemma DiMatteo, of the Blaine Road address, is a second-grade teacher with Aliquippa (Pa.) School District after graduating from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa., with her bachelor's degree in elementary education.
Crescenzo and Emma Battaglini, 3605 Timberbrooke Trails, Poland, are the parents of the prospective groom, who is a physical therapist assistant with Forum Health in Youngstown. He earned an associate degree at Kent State University East Liverpool Campus and a bachelor's at Youngstown State University.
The couple are planning an open ceremony at 1:30 p.m. July 16 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Monaca. An evening reception will be held by invitation at Antone's Banquet Center in Boardman.
