Meridian Services seeks nominees for its board

YOUNGSTOWN -- Meridian Services Inc., a private, nonprofit behavioral health-care organization, is seeking nominees for its board of directors.
The agency has provided health and social wellness programs to Mahoning Valley residents for more than 30 years ranging from chemical dependency and mental health treatment to housing for the homeless and employee assistance programming.
It is looking for regional business, government and health-care leaders as well as individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including human resources, public relations and marketing, fundraising and technology.
Young people with fresh ideas, as well as individuals with experience in the chemical dependency or mental health treatment fields, are also encouraged to apply.
The board meets monthly and its members are volunteers.
