Amanda Malie, Mr. Scrocco plan family ceremony

XBOARDMAN -- The engagement of Amanda Malie, 1363 No. 1 Redtail Hawk Drive, to Frank Scrocco Jr., 6031 Deer Spring Run, Canfield, is being announced by her parents, Joseph and Portia Malie, 465 Annawan Lane.
The couple will issue invitations for a family ceremony July 9 at St. Christine Church in Youngstown and a champagne brunch July 10 at Tippecanoe County Club in Canfield.
The future bride is a guidance counselor for Boardman School District after earning a bachelor's degree in elementary education at Youngstown State University and a master's in school counseling at Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa.
Mr. Scrocco, a son of Frank and Rosemary Scrocco Sr., of the Deer Spring Run address, is a financial-aid counselor at YSU, where he earned a bachelor's degree in education.
