XSalem Memorial Building Association is hosting its annual spring bazaar from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 1 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 2 at the Salem Memorial Building, 785 E. State St., Salem. Lunch will be served starting at 11 a.m. both days, and donations of baked goods can be dropped off at the kitchen both days. Fifty tables will be available for all kinds of crafts, candies and baked goods. Cost to rent an 8-by-5 space is $25 for both days and one donated item from each crafter for the Chinese auction. CONTESTS
XGreenville (Pa.) Area Preservation Association is sponsoring a photo contest as a prelude to the Greenville Days of Celebration that will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29. Nathan Leary of Leary Studios will judge the photos in the categories of portrait, landscape-seascape and miscellaneous. The winner will be displayed in front of Leary's Studio in Greenville on May 28 from noon to 7 p.m. Send the entry fee and photo with your name, address and telephone number to: GAPA, 1 Walnut St., Greenville, Pa., 16125.
FUND-RAISERS
XTeam Heather's Hope will host a fund-raiser at 8 p.m. April 9 at Woody's Bar & amp; Grill, 718 N. State St., Girard, to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Heather McMaster Gump, a friend of the team members, has been diagnosed with MS. Music will be performed by The Rage, and there will be a 50-50 raffle and Chinese auction.

XChurch Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill-Hubbard Road, Liberty Township, is having a giant "gently used" sale on from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 1 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 2. Lunch will be available both days. For information call (330) 759-0118.

XFowler Fire Department is hosting the 17th annual Easter egg hunt Saturday starting at noon at the fire station, state Route 193. All Fowler children 12 and under are welcome.
WORKSHOPS
XTQGIBT Quilting Guild is hosting a two-day workshop, "One Yard Wonders," to be conducted by author and quilt artist Leigh McDonald April 1 and 2 at the Best Western Meander Inn, Route 46 and 80.
