Meeting players was enough

Meeting players was enough
EDITOR:
I was in attendance at the Kardiac Kids Reunion last Saturday evening, and had the time of my life. It brought back a lot of memories, most good, some bad (RedRight 88). I found the players to be very down to earth and they went out of their way to make the fans feel special. The stories that they told were hilarious. I could have listened to them for days.
I am sad to say that I have heard some rumblings from people who were mad and even threatening to sue for not getting autographs. First I am in no way affiliated with the Browns Boosters, but it was my understanding from the tickets and the papers that came with them that autographs were not guaranteed. Second, if the only reason you were there was to get autographs then you are not a true Browns fan. I was there to meet the heroes from my childhood and to hear the war stories from that magical 1980 season. It seems to me that if you couldn't enjoy yourself at an event like this, (even if you didnt get autographs) then we (Browns Fans) don't want you anymore.
Maybe you should join the evil empire in the next state over or maybe even jump on the bandwagon of that team of traitors up in Baltimore.
