Matthew Finnerty, Miss Spickler to wed

XSTRONGSVILLE -- James and Kathleen Spickler, 19122 Prospect Road, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Loren Spickler of the same address, to Matthew Finnerty, 11911 Carlton Ave., Cleveland.
Parents of the prospective groom are Kevin and Mary Jo Finnerty, 2724 Spitler Road, Poland. He is pursuing a teaching certificate at John Carroll University in University Heights and is a graduate assistant at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, where he received a bachelor's degree in physics.
The bride-elect will graduate in May from Case Western with her bachelor's in mechanical engineering.
Invitations are being issued for the couple's spring wedding. The 3:30 p.m. ceremony will take place May 29 at St. Theodosius Orthodox Church in Cleveland, and a reception that evening will be held at Michaud's in Strongsville.
