A summary of recent criminal activity in Boardman Township:
March 10
Arrest: Police arrested a 15-year-old girl at her Glendale Avenue home after a woman reported an assault.
Misuse of a credit card: A man in the 1400 block of Alissa Place told police that someone attempted to make $1,200 worth of fraudulent purchases using the man's Visa card.
Theft: A Youngstown man noticed his $50 cellular phone was stolen while he was at the Southern Park Mall.
Assault: A Youngstown man was not injured after reporting he was assaulted while at KFC, 6366 South Ave.
Theft/criminal damaging: A New Castle, Pa., man found his car's passenger-side vent window smashed at the Southern Park Mall. A $350 AM-FM compact-disc player and a CD were taken.
Theft: Two Austintown women, 24 and 45, were apprehended after someone took $226 worth of clothing and shoes from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Police arrested a 28-year-old Youngstown woman accused of stealing a pair of pants, a bathing suit, a pair of shorts and a top from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall. The theft came to about $100.
March 11
Criminal trespass: Someone apparently entered a vacant home in the 7000 block of Amherst Avenue and did damage. A Boardman boy, 14, was arrested, though no charges had been brought against him.
Drugs: Police responded to the Southern Park Mall and said they discovered a Youngstown man, 48, waiting for a bus was highly intoxicated, and that he was in possession of an illegal prescription.
Forgery: A Boardman man discovered his signature was forged on a document when he signed up for cellular phone service at a kiosk in Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Marathon Oil, 965 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered forced entry had been made to the business. Ten cartons of cigarettes were missing, and $300 in damage was done to a window and surrounding wood.
Theft/identity fraud: A woman in the 7900 block of Market Street reported the theft of $300, and that someone made an undetermined number of fraudulent purchases using her Visa debit card.
Identity theft: A man in the 6800 block of Lockwood Boulevard discovered his credit card number was used without permission to make an undetermined number of online purchases.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 7400 block of Glenwood Avenue reported her vehicle's passenger-side mirror had been damaged.
March 12
Drugs: During a traffic stop near Melbourne Avenue and Market Street, police said the vehicle's driver was under the influence and that drug paraphernalia was found in the car. Arrested were a Canfield man, 29, and a Youngstown man, 30.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A man said his car was taken from his residence in the 4000 block of Shelby Road without permission.
Auto theft: A man in the 3900 block of South Schenley Avenue reported his 1986 Olds Cutlass stolen from his apartment.
Recovered property: After responding to a stolen vehicle report in the 3900 block of South Schenley Avenue, officers discovered a 1988 Olds Delta 88 abandoned in a nearby parking lot. A Youngstown man had reported his car stolen to Youngstown police.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 1800 block of Massachusetts Avenue found seven mailboxes in the area damaged.
Theft: A 30-year-old New Castle woman was arrested. She was accused of taking $335 worth of clothing and $84 worth of jewelry from Kohl's.
Arrest: A Newton Falls man, 22, was arrested in Newton Falls on a misdemeanor warrant from Boardman charging him with theft. A woman told police she witnessed property being stolen from a friend's vehicle parked at Smokey Bones Barbecue, 6651 South Ave.
Criminal damaging: A woman noticed her vehicle's rear window had been smashed at her residence in the 2000 block of Parkway Drive.
Theft/stolen property: An employee at the J.C. Penney store reported the theft of three skirts from the business, for a loss of $60, and that merchandise had been stolen from Spencer Gifts, also in the Southern Park Mall. Three Youngstown girls, two age 14 and one age 13, were arrested.
March 13
Theft: A 14-year-old Youngstown girl was apprehended after someone took a total of 15 pieces of jewelry and articles of clothing from the J.C. Penney store, for a loss of $208.
Theft: A man reported a $180 wedding band, an 8 mm camcorder and a digital camera stolen from his home in the 7400 block of Sierra Madre Trail. His loss came to $1,030.
Theft: A Boardman woman discovered a check-cashing card and three other cards missing from her purse while she shopped at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Stolen property: Workers at Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall called police after discovering someone was using a stolen credit card at the store. The card had been taken from a Youngstown woman.
Theft: A Boardman woman left the Southern Park Mall and noticed a temporary license plate missing from her vehicle.
Theft: An employee at Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road, reported the theft of four shirts and a toaster. The loss was estimated at $83.
