Miss Maldonado, Mr. Hoops plan June ceremony

XCANFIELD -- The engagement of Norma Maldonado of Canfield and Timothy H. Hoops of Malinta is being announced by her parents, George L. and Enid Maldonado of Canfield.
Invitations will be issued for a 2:30 p.m. ceremony June 11 at Old North Church and an evening reception at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty.
Miss Maldonado is a manager for the student credit union at Kent State University, and Mr. Hoops is a sales representative for Platinum Marketing in Cleveland. They will graduate in May from KSU, she with a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies and he with a bachelor's in advertising. He is a son of Michael A. and Lynn Hoops of Malinta.
