Former Canfield resident to wed
XCANFIELD -- Amy Beitzel of Germantown, formerly of Canfield, and Scott Kegley of Mount Airy, Md., are announcing their engagement and coming spring wedding.
The bride-elect, a daughter of Beverly Beitzel of Canfield and Fred Beitzel of New Philadelphia, and Mr. Kegley, son of William and Virginia Kegley of Hyattsville, Md., will exchange vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony April 29 in the Historic Chapel at Milton Ridge in Clarksburg, Md., where a reception will follow in the parlor. Invitations will be issued.
Miss Beitzel and Mr. Kegley work for Montgomery County Government in Rockville, Md., she as acquisitions manager and he as information technology manager. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science from American University in Washington, D.C., and a master's in library science from San Hose (Calif.) State University. Mr. Kegley earned a bachelor's degree in information systems management at the University of Maryland and an associate degree in law enforcement at Prince Georges Community College, also in Maryland.
