Police eye Internet prostitution site

The site said services were available in three cities.
ALBION, Pa. (AP) -- Erie County detectives have arrested a couple for allegedly running an Internet prostitution ring under the guise of an escort service.
Mindy McAllister, 36, and Ricky McAllister, 46, of Albion, were charged Thursday with 174 counts each of criminal solicitation, eight counts each of prostitution and related offenses.
They were released on $50,000 bond each.
A listed phone number for the couple could not be found, and it was not immediately clear if they had an attorney.
Police began investigating the couple after learning last month of a Web page titled "Take a Trip to Heaven with an Angel."
The page detailed rates of $175 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour and said services were available in Erie, Cleveland and Buffalo, N.Y., officials said.
"If anything happens between two consenting adults, it is for pleasure only ... no money is to be exchanged for anything other than companionship," the site read.
The site also said, "If you are a law enforcement officer or affiliated with any law enforcement agency, any information obtained from this site or through any contact with me is inadmissable [sic] legally against myself or any of my associates connected with me or this site."
A phone number listed on the site was not in service Saturday.
Police subsequently searched the McAllisters' home and found the names of 174 people on a computer, authorities said. Erie County Detective Jessica Lynn said Friday that investigators have started looking into the people whose names appear on the suspected client list.
