XNORTH LIMA -- Laura Lynn Surgenavic and Nicholas Adam Nash, 6854 E. Calla Road, New Middletown, exchanged wedding vows Feb. 5 in Good Hope Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Ralph Edwards officiated for the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Chester and Linda Surgenavic, 1311 Yerian Road, and the son of John and Estella Nelson, 213 Park Way, Struthers.
A reception followed at the Croatian Club in Bessemer, Pa., before the couple left for a honeymoon in Niagara Falls, Canada.
The bride's strapless princess gown was adorned with beaded re-embroidered lace, crystals, sequins and pearls, and fell to a matching chapel train.
Her sister, Jody Surgenavic of North Lima, served as maid of honor, and Rachel Dunleavy of New Middletown was bridesmaid. The bride's cousin, Lauren Kelley of New Springfield, was flower girl. All wore berry-colored gowns.
Eric Nieder of Struthers served as best man, and Ricky Khoury of Youngstown, the groom's cousin, was groomsman. Andrew and Christopher Umeck, both of Boardman, were ushers, and A.J. Joseph of Columbus and Justin Rounds of Youngstown, cousins of the bride and groom, respectively, were ring bearers.
The bride is attending Youngstown State University and works as a legal secretary for Atty. Michael Rich of Boardman. The groom, who attended YSU, works for Edge Seal Technologies East Inc. in Youngstown.
