XCANFIELD -- Kristy J. Booms and Christopher A. Gnandt, both of Sara Drive, Uniontown, exchanged wedding vows Feb. 12 in Canfield United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Robert S. Mitchell performed the 3:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Charles and Denise Booms, Millbrook Street, Canfield, and the son of Bruce and Sharon Gnandt of Tennyson Lane, North Olmstead.
A reception followed at the Holiday Inn in Boardman before the couple left for a honeymoon in Las Vegas.
Crystal beading accented the bride's two-piece, strapless gown of gold satin fashioned with an ivory organza overlay and a cathedral-length train.
Her attendants, in periwinkle satin, were Julie Pakula, maid of honor; Abbie Gnandt, the groom's sister, and Ashley McCall, Sharon Griffin, Jenn Conti and Gina Markovich, bridesmaids; and Kacy Baker, the bride's cousin, junior bridesmaid.
Best man was the groom's brother, Brian Gnandt, and groomsmen were Chase Booms, the bride's brother, and Dave Vance, Dan Pinho, Pat Beattie and Matt Gatt.
Jessica Novotny and Timothy Gable ushered.
The bride and groom earned their bachelor's degrees at the University of Akron, she in early childhood education and development and he in business. She is a substitute teacher for Summit County. He is a registered representative for Morgan-Stanley in Canton.
