Fall rite set for Miss Pietra, Mr. Metzka

XBOARDMAN -- The engagement of Jaime Ann Pietra and George Metzka Jr., 7214 Boatwright Lane, New Albany, is being announced by their parents.
An open wedding is set for 2 p.m. Sept. 24 in St. Christine Church, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel hall, also in Youngstown.
The bride-elect, the daughter of James and Nancy Pietra, 1130 Suzylinn Ave., is an ultrasonographer for Central Ohio Primary Care in Columbus after earning a bachelor's degree in exercise science at Youngstown State University.
Mr. Metzka, a son of George and Carol Metzka, 474 Garden Valley Drive, is a retirement planner for John Hancock Financial Services in Columbus. He earned a bachelor's degree in English at the University of Pittsburgh.
