BOSTON -- Kobe Bryant's problems have moved back to the basketball court. Just 30 minutes after settling a lawsuit filed by the woman who accused him of rape, Bryant scored 17 first-quarter points against Boston. But he was scoreless in the fourth quarter -- missing a 3-pointer just before the buzzer -- as the Celtics sent the Lakers to their fourth consecutive loss. Paul Pierce had 29 points and nine rebounds, Ricky Davis scored 29 points and Antoine Walker had 16 with 13 rebounds in his first game in Boston since being reacquired at the trading deadline. The rejuvenated Celtics have won three straight since then and six straight at home overall. Bryant finished with 26 points, and Chucky Atkins had 29, scoring 14 in the final 5:26 to keep the Lakers in the game. The defending Western Conference champions dropped to .500 with their seventh loss in their last eight road games.
Spurs 92, Raptors 86
SAN ANTONIO -- Manu Ginobili scored 17 points, and Tony Parker added 15 to lead San Antonio. Tim Duncan and Robert Horry each added 13 points to help the NBA-leading Spurs improve to 44-13 overall and 25-2 at the SBC Center. Chris Bosh had 16 points to lead Toronto, which shot 24 percent from the floor in the first half.
Nets 99, 76ers 93
PHILADELPHIA -- Vince Carter scored 26 of his 32 points in the second half, and Clifford Robinson added 18 points for New Jersey. Allen Iverson scored 37 points for Philadelphia, and Chris Webber had only 10 in his worst performance in three games for the 76ers. Philadelphia has lost three of four since acquiring Webber from Sacramento last week.
Warriors 99, Timberwolves 93
MINNEAPOLIS -- Derek Fisher had 23 points and nine assists to lead Golden State to its sixth road victory of the season. After trailing by as many as 11 points in the third quarter, the Warriors opened the fourth with a 16-2 run to snap a three-game losing streak. Kevin Garnett had 28 points and 13 rebounds for the Timberwolves.
Wizards 101, Rockets 98
WASHINGTON -- Larry Hughes made an emphatic and timely return, scoring 31 points in his first game for Washington since breaking his thumb. Hughes made 11 of 20 shots and had six rebounds and four assists, and backcourt partner Gilbert Arenas had 33 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Wizards, who had lost two straight and five of six.
Magic 114, Kings 111
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Steve Francis had 29 points and 10 assists to help Orlando snap a three-game losing streak. Dwight Howard added 20 points and 16 rebounds for the Magic, Grant Hill had 20 points, and rookie Jameer Nelson had 19 points and six assists. Peja Stojakovic led Sacramento with 28 points in his first game after missing seven games because of a hamstring injury. Mike Bibby added 26 points and 10 assists.Jazz 96, Hawks 74

Brown and Lee Nailon, the only players on the floor who played for the Hornets during their last season in Charlotte, played key roles in helping the Hornets split the season series 1-1 with Charlotte's new team.Emeka Okafor led Charlotte with 18 points and eight rebounds, keeping the game close early in the final period with a pair of strong inside baskets.Brevin Knight scored 16 for the Bobcats, while Gerald Wallace had 13 points, four blocks and three steals.
