A summary of recent criminal activity in Boardman Township:
Feb. 22
Arrest: Police arrested a 22-year-old East Liverpool man at the Columbiana County jail. He was wanted on a warrant from Boardman charging him with aggravated robbery.
Arrest: A Boardman woman, 50, was apprehended near Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard on a charge of possession of drug-abuse paraphernalia.
Theft: Police arrested a 25-year-old Boardman man on a felony theft charge after $1,830 was stolen from Family Dollar, 4028 Market St.
Arrest: A 14-year-old Boardman boy was picked up in Youngstown. He was wanted on two felony counts -- one each of complicity to theft and complicity to breaking and entering.
Theft: A Poland man discovered $405 had been removed from his car parked at the YMCA, 45 McClurg Road.
Theft: A Campbell man reported four 14-karat rings stolen from him while he was at Forum Health Beeghly Medical Center, 6505 Market St. His loss was more than $7,000.
Recovered property: Officers recovered a 1991 Olds Bravada, stolen from a Youngstown man, in the 90 block of Ferncliff Avenue.
Vandalism: A Salem man discovered property he owns in the 30 block of Carter Circle sustained $225 in damage. A bedroom wall, closet door and an apartment door were damaged.
Theft: An employee at Boardman Molded Products Inc., 1110 Thalia Ave., called police after someone stole $10,000 worth of aluminum as well as 1,000 48-inch toboggans. The theft came to $20,000.
Theft: An employee of The Vindicator, 107 Vindicator Square, Youngstown, noticed that someone took a $500 newspaper box from in front of Burger King, 1403 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Feb. 23
Criminal mischief: A woman discovered part of her front yard in the 100 block of Maple Drive had been damaged.
Theft: An employee at a McDonald's restaurant, 1110 Boardman-Poland Road, reported the theft of $140.
Theft by deception: An employee at Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd., said someone was returning merchandise that had never been purchased at the store and was selling gift cards obtained from the returns.
Arrest: After responding to an argument between two men at Sky Bank, 5754 Youngstown-Poland Road, officers arrested a 41-year-old Campbell man after discovering he was wanted on a warrant from Boardman. The warrant charged him with a probation violation.
Theft: Police arrested a Youngstown woman, 40, after 16 packs of cigarettes were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive. Another woman told police her purse was stolen in the same incident.
Feb. 24
Theft: A woman reported a cellular phone, a $50 wool overcoat, 10 compact discs and an umbrella stolen from her residence in the 100 block of Rockdale Avenue.
Theft by deception: A Home Depot worker reported a theft-by-deception crime involving a $360 gift card and two sets of children's playset materials.
Theft: A man in the 6700 block of Trenholm Road noticed a $140 portable playpen, an electric tire gauge and various personal papers stolen from his vehicle.
Theft: Someone broke into a Vindicator newspaper box near Burger King, 841 Boardman-Poland Road, and stole another box at Alltel, 1222 Doral Drive.
Theft: A woman found her car had been broken into at her home in the 600 block of Angiline Drive. A $400 AM-FM-CD player was removed.
Theft/criminal damaging: A man in the 100 block of Stoney Creek Court discovered damage to his car's front bumper, and that a 17-inch TV and 20 CDs were stolen.
Theft: A man reported 25 CDs, a 75-CD holder and a vehicle owner's manual stolen from his car at his residence in the 400 block of Ewing Road.
Theft: A man in the 400 block of Rockdale Avenue discovered an owner's manual, a flashlight and an insurance card missing from his vehicle.
Assault/criminal damaging: A Lowellville man suffered minor burns on his left hand, forearm and right leg after he reported an argument with another driver near Market Street and Woodrow Avenue. The victim told police the other person tossed coffee into his car, causing minor interior damage.
Theft: A man reported the theft of his vehicle's registration at his home in the 700 block of Squirrel Hill Court.
Theft: A man in the 300 block of Brookfield Avenue discovered someone unzipped his Jeep's rear canvas cover and took a $200 poker set and two magazines.
Arrest: A Canfield man, 23, was arrested at the Southern Park Mall on four counts of passing bad checks.
Feb. 25
Criminal damaging: Someone did $250 in damage to a plastic mailbox and its post at a residence in the 7600 block of West Parkside Drive.
Attempted breaking and entering: An employee at Brown's Drug Store & amp; Gift Shop, 5106 Southern Blvd., noticed pry marks on a rear door after someone tried to gain entry. The door sustained $50 in damage.
Theft: An employee at a doctor's office in the 7700 block of Southern Boulevard noticed $30 to $35 missing after she arrived for work.
Theft: A Boardman woman reported a $495 cellular phone and its case stolen while she was at the Blue Wolf Tavern, 1295 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: An employee at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave., called police after discovering the theft of $4,448 worth of wedding services as well as $3,291 in room services and phone calls.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 4600 block of South Avenue noticed her vehicle's passenger-side window had been shattered. Damage was estimated at $200.
Criminal damaging: An employee at the Skate Connection, 7080 Tiffany Blvd., reported damage to a 30-foot section of grass.
Theft: A motorist drove away from a Shell True North station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying for $10 worth of gasoline.
Theft: A Columbiana woman reported a travel bag containing her Social Security card, driver's license and a credit card stolen while she shopped at Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Feb. 26
Bad checks: Officers arrested a 50-year-old Warren woman. She faced three misdemeanor counts of passing bad checks as well as one felony charge of passing bad checks after an employee at Alltel, 1222 Doral Drive, reported receiving two bad checks totaling $549.78.
Arrest: A 46-year-old Youngstown man was picked up near Market Street and McClurg Road after police learned he was wanted on a felony warrant from Michigan charging him with kidnapping.
Burglary: A man in the 4100 block of Windsor Road called police after someone broke into his residence and took a purse, a wallet, a driver's license and a checkbook.
Attempted auto theft: A man in the 300 block of West Midlothian Boulevard discovered damage to his car's steering column and door lock after someone tried to steal the vehicle.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 700 block of Terraview Drive noticed four holes in her home's vinyl siding and a damaged window after someone apparently shot a BB gun at the residence.
Theft: Police arrested a 47-year-old Youngstown man at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, who was accused of concealing in his pocket a pack of cigarettes and a box of cold medicine.
Theft: A Campbell woman, 36, was arrested after two packs of cigarettes, a bottle of mayonnaise and two boxes of Jello were taken from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Robbery: A Boardman woman told police she was robbed of her purse and its contents in the Rulli Bros. parking lot, 5780 South Ave.
Theft: An employee at Rondinelli Tuxedo Rental, 845 Boardman-Poland Road, discovered a $650 tuxedo set had been stolen.
Theft: A woman called police after noticing an $11,250, 18-karat gold wedding band stolen from her residence in the 800 block of Park Harbour Drive.
Assault: A Poland man reported being assaulted while he was at The Car Wash Inc., 8525 South Ave. The victim had a cut and bruise near his left eye.
Criminal damaging: A Boardman woman discovered $400 in damage to her car's passenger side at her residence in the 200 block of Shields Road.
Criminal damaging: A Boardman man left the Southern Park Mall and saw that someone had placed several scratches in his vehicle, causing $200 in damage to the finish.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 8100 block of Stadler Avenue reported someone slid an object under his vehicle's driver's-side door and did $50 in damage to the window trim.
Assault: A Boardman man reported an altercation between two men in the Youngstown Sports Grille parking lot, 277 Boardman-Canfield Road. No one was hurt.
Theft: An employee at the Blue Wolf Tavern discovered the theft of two empty beer kegs.
Drugs: While investigating a complaint of someone underage consuming an alcoholic beverage in the 4100 block of Windsor Road, police say they discovered two partially smoked suspected marijuana cigarettes.
Feb. 27
Felonious assault: A man suffered a broken nose, an injured left eyelid and glass in his eye after reporting someone had struck him in the head with a glass beer bottle at his residence in the 7500 block of Market Street.
Arrest: Police arrested a 20-year-old Boardman man on U.S. Route 224 on a warrant from Struthers charging him with failure to appear in court.
Theft: An East Palestine boy, 17, and a Columbiana boy, 16, were arrested after being accused of taking two DVDs, an Xbox game and a rawhide bone from Target.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road noticed damage to her vehicle's door lock and steering column after someone tried to steal the car.
Attempted breaking and entering: A woman reported someone tried to enter her mother's garage in the 20 block of Stanton Avenue.
Burglary: A man in the 100 block of Terrace Drive called police after someone broke into his apartment through an unlocked rear basement door. The perpetrator took $4.
