Youngstown State (5-22) has not won a game on the road this season.
CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Youngstown State men's basketball team will begin its second season tonight with hopes that it will be better than the first one.

YSU has struggled through four consecutive 20-loss seasons under coach John Robic, who is not expected to be brought back as the coach next season.
Beat Ramblers at home
The Penguins won only two games in the Horizon League season (2-14), but one of those victories came against the Ramblers on Dec. 21 in the league opener, 76-68, at the Beeghly Center.
The Penguins dropped their second meeting with the Ramblers, 71-50, at the Gentile Center.
YSU has never won a game at the Gentile Center since joining the Horizon League.
The last Penguin victory here came in 1998, 66-64.
The Penguins enter the contest on a two-game losing streak and have lost six of their last seven. They ended the season Saturday afternoon with a 62-47 loss to Detroit.
