XLOWELLVILLE -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2 p.m. ceremony May 21 as Danielle Meris, 7521 Forest Hill Ave., Poland, and Rosendo Gutierrez, 5701 Beechwood Drive, Poland, were united in marriage at Victory Christian Center.
The Rev. David L. Thomas presided for the daughter of Tim and Leila Meris, of the Forest Hill Avenue address, and the son of Myrna Dilullo of Struthers and Ramon Gutierrez of Youngstown.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, then left on a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico. They live in Poland.
The bride wore an A-line gown of white satin fashioned with an apron back and an organza inset embellished with metallic beaded embroidery.
Apple-red gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Katie Meris and Laura Rowe, and the bridesmaids, Harriet Meris, Kayla Keish, Kathy D'Amato, Emily Thomas, Amy Quaranto, Nikki Zuzga, Angela Wilk and Sarah Livesay. Flower girls were Alexis Diaz and Sierra Smith.
Best man was David Dilullo, and groomsmen were Isaiah Rowe, Ramon Gutierrez, Ruben Gutierrez, Chuck D'Amato, Tony Arroyo, Isaac Arroyo, Lucus Gonzalez, Mark Long and Brian McCombie. Ring bearer was Nicholas Caraballo, and ushers were A.J. Caraballo and Ziko Millin.
The bride is a receptionist at Victory Christian Center. The groom is a traffic control specialist with Traffic Detectors and Signs in Poland. Both attended Youngstown State University.
