HUBBARD
June 23
Assault: A Lloyd Street man told officers a juvenile assaulted his son while the victim was at an arcade on East Liberty Street.
Auto theft: A man left Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave., and realized his 2003 Olds Alero had been stolen.
June 25
Theft: A Rebecca Avenue woman discovered someone stole medications from her home.
June 26
Arrest: Police picked up a man, 43, at Taco Bell, 730 W. Liberty St. He was wanted on a warrant from Hubbard Township charging him with unauthorized use of motor vehicle.
June 27
Criminal mischief: A boy, 16, tossed a water balloon and struck a man while at Harding Park, 249 Roosevelt Drive.
June 28
Arrest: The Mahoning County Sheriff's Department held a Hubbard man wanted on a warrant from Hubbard charging him with failure to appear on a charge of failure to file 2003 city taxes.
Criminal mischief: A man in the 200 block of Hager Street called police after someone lighted a bag containing animal feces in an attempt to set his front porch on fire.

June 22
Theft/vandalism: A Uniontown, Ohio, man discovered damage to five signs and the theft of two boards from a development in the 6100 block of Klines Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a 37-year-old Girard man at the Tallyho-tel, 4249 Belmont Ave., on a theft charge. An employee at a Speedway gas station, 4210 Belmont, reported a man stole two cases of beer.
Theft: A woman in the 200 block of Colonial Drive noticed a temporary tag stolen off her vehicle.
Recovered property: After a Naylor-Lloyd Road man reported his 1992 Buick Regal stolen, police found the car at Union Square Plaza near Belmont Avenue and Gypsy Lane.
Breaking and entering: A woman called police after someone removed a screen from a mobile home on Louise Lane and broke in. Various parts of the furnace were removed, and the loss was estimated at $500.
Theft: An employee at Movie Gallery, 3551 Belmont Ave., reported a customer found six empty game cartridges near the Eastwood Mall that had been stolen from the business.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 1800 block of Lucretia Drive found damage to her mailbox and Vindicator box.
Identity theft: A Cortland woman found out someone used her MasterCard account information to charge $2,392 at a company in Santa Ana, Calif., from a Naylor-Lloyd Road residence.
June 23
Aggravated menacing: A Logan Gate Road woman told officers her husband, 55, pulled up behind her vehicle near Trumbull Avenue and threatened her life several times before driving away.
June 24
Theft: A Columbus woman reported a wooden couch, an antique bench and two pieces of wicker furniture stolen from her mother's home in the 300 block of Mansell Drive. The loss was around $3,000.
Theft: A Scott Lane woman noticed someone removed from her vehicle's glove compartment her checkbook, several checks and various personal papers.
Arrest: After pulling over a car near Holly Drive, police arrested a 28-year-old Youngstown man on charges of carrying a concealed firearm, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and obstructing official business. Officers say the suspect fled on foot and that a loaded pistol fell from his waistband.
June 25
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 2700 block of Merrill Road called police after someone destroyed her $200 swimming pool.
Theft: Police apprehended a Youngstown man, 28, on a theft charge. He was accused of leaving Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., without paying for six bags of frozen shrimp, fish, two snack foods and bread.
June 27
Theft: Two Youngstown men, one age 20, were arrested on theft charges after an 18-pack of beer was taken from a Speedway station.
Burglary: A Tallyho-tel worker discovered $1,470.20 was removed from a filing cabinet in a room near the front desk.
Theft: A woman in the 2700 block of Goleta Avenue alleged her former boyfriend stole her purse containing $350 while visiting her.
