Parents announce Kashimer-Schlais nuptials in August

XBOARDMAN -- The engagement of Brie Kashimer, 133 Lost Creek Drive, and Michael J. Schlais, 4851 Grover Drive, is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Linda McCutheon of the Lost Creek Drive address and Mr. and Mrs. George Kashimer of Youngstown. Her fianc & eacute; is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael W. Schlais of the Grover Drive address.
An open ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Aug. 12 at St. Stanislaus Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall, also in Youngstown.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing-home administration. She is pursuing her master's in nursing at The Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.
The prospective groom earned a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's in science at YSU. He is a teacher of microbiology at Owen Community College in Toledo.
