Weathersfield to hold hearings

McKINLEY HEIGHTS -- Weathersfield Township trustees will have three public hearings Wednesday in conjunction with the Trumbull County Planning Commission regarding Community Development Block Grants the county is seeking for the township.
The hearings, which will take place at the McKinley Heights Fire Station, 2229 Gardenland Road, are at the following times:
U 6 p.m. for the CDBG Formula Program, which includes the McKinley Heights Sanitary Sewer Project totalling $300,000.
U 6:30 p.m. for the water and sewer line construction in the McKinley Heights Target Investment area totalling $400,000.
U 7 p.m., McKinley Heights Community Distress Grant program for residents of Harmon, Garfield, Bellwood and Ridgewood avenues and a portion of U.S. Route 422, which seeks $300,000 for street improvements, storm drainage facilities, fire hydrant installation, clearance activities, engineering and administration.
The county plans to apply for funding under the community CDBG programs -- federally funded programs administered by the Ohio Department of Development.
