YOUNGSTOWN -- Indianapolis Colts linebacker Deryck Toles headlines an all-star list of guest instructors at the Ursuline Fighting Irish football camp on July 5-6 at Ursuline High School.
The camp, open to boys entering grades three-nine, focuses on football fundamentals in all phases of the game.
"It's a technique and instructional camp," said Ursuline High football coach Dan Reardon, the camp's director.
"You get a lot of individual attention and a chance to be around some talented college and professional players."
Toles, a Warren Harding and Penn State graduate, will be joined by Arena Football League players Chris Curd (Columbus Destroyers) and Tim Frost (Albany Conquest). Curd and Frost are both Ursuline graduates.
Chicago Bears linebacker Carl Diggs (Harding) also may be at the camp.
Reardon, who took over at Ursuline last year, also has served as an assistant at Warren Harding, giving him ties to top players from both schools. The Irish football staff also will serve as instructors.
Other Ursuline graduates who will serve as guest coaches include Marcus Johnson (Miami of Ohio), Daryl Clark (Penn State), Branndon Braxton (Oklahoma), Derrick Stewart (Cincinnati), John Bartos (YSU), Ross Kollar (Bowling Green), Brandon Brown (YSU) and Alex Allen (Akron).
Harding graduates Delbert Ferguson (Cincinnati), Alex Engram (Western Michigan), Anthony Hoke (Cincinnati), Mario Manningham (Michigan), Treymayne Warfield (Indiana), Mike Kokal (Miami of Ohio), Andre Boomer (Bowling Green), Richard Davis (Toledo) and Dante Campbell (Kent State) also will be guest coaches.
Cost is $35 if paid before July 5 or $40 on camp day.
