XEAST PALESTINE -- Jeremy Alan Thompson and his bride, the former Cassie Rena Styen, both of 898 Macklin Road, New Waterford, were honored May 21 during a reception held at Heid Hall following their wedding at the First Church of Christ.
The Rev. Robert Helbeck presided at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Timothy and Vickie Styen, 50620 Hadley Road, and the son of Mary Boyles, 225 S. Market St., and Jesse Thompson, 7635 Commerce St., Negley.
After a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside at the Macklin Road address.
The bride wore a white, strapless, two-piece gown fashioned with a chapel-length train.
Peach gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Misty Kalcevic of East Palestine, and the bridesmaids, Jamie Figley of New Waterford and Tifany Casciotti of East Palestine. Madison Fleming of East Palestine and Alexa Bregar of New Waterford, niece of the groom, were flower girls.
The duties of best man were performed by Dave Beight of Bessemer, Pa., and the groomsmen were Duane Kalcevic of East Palestine and Dylan Thompson of Negley, brother of the groom. Serving as ushers were the bride's brothers, Timothy Jr. and Lucas Styen, both of East Palestine.
The bride is a homemaker. The groom is a laborer with LEB Contracting in East Palestine.
