XAUGUSTA, Ga. -- Married May 21 at the Courtyard of Marbury Center were Beth Savage and David Hageman, both of 707 W. Springfield Ave., Champaign, Ill.
The daughter of Lanier and Henri Savage, 4010 Braddock St., Martinez, Ga., and the son of George and Donna Hageman, 1720 Price Road, Youngstown, exchanged vows during a 6:15 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rev. Dan King.
A reception followed at Marbury Center before the couple left for a honeymoon in Hilton Head, S.C.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in English at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta and a master's at the University of Illinois, where she is pursuing a doctorate in English.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in history at Miami University, Oxford, and a master's at the University of Illinois, where he is pursuing a doctorate in history.
The bride's ivory empire-style gown was styled with cap sleeves and an A-line skirt, and was embellished with lace and sequins.
Mona Cousino of Greenwich, Conn., and Ann Mitchell of Chicago were maid and matron of honor, respectively, and Brian Fletcher of New York City was attendant.
Stephen Hageman of Champaign, the groom's brother, was best man, and groomsmen were Brendan Rosa of Cincinnati, Matt Jennings of Champaign and Scott Anderson of Spokane, Wash., the groom's cousin.
