A summary of recent criminal activity in Canfield City and Austintown Township:
CANFIELD
June 21
Vandalism, trespassing: Nine windows were broken at the service department at Decker Cycles, 410 W. Main St., and an old Snow Commander kept in the back of the property for junk had a broken windshield. The windshield also was broken in a Ford Funmaker, and someone entered the upstairs of the business.
Criminal damaging: A resident in the 100 block of Jade Circle reported that a gray curbside mailbox was hit when a car of unknown color came up during the night and hit it. The owner also said numerous articles had been thrown into her yard over the last several nights, including a planter, bricks and a wooden duck.
June 22
Drugs: A 31-year-old Warren man was arrested on charges of drug abuse marijuana, and a 27-year-old Warren man was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse and obtaining and possessing drugs. The men were arrested at West Main and North Broad streets. Police found a box on the first suspect with 15 marijuana roaches in it, and a pack of cigarettes on the second man with five marijuana roaches in it.
June 23
Theft: Ten large v12 cylinder pistons for an industrial engine were stolen from Professional Engine Systems, 495 W. Main St.
Theft from vehicle: A flip screen television, radio and compact disc player were stolen from a Pontiac Bonneville being worked on at Bob's Service, 650 W. Main St. There was minor damage to the dash area and the driver's door was open.
Drug paraphernalia: A Struthers man was arrested after police found three pipes with marijuana residue in them, two packs of rolling papers, a rolling machine, and several empty plastic bags during a traffic stop at U.S. Route 224 and Fairground Boulevard.
June 24
Theft: Police arrested a 26-year-old Canfield man on a theft charge. He was accused of taking $100 from a bank ATM.
June 25
Damaged windshield: The windshield to a Wanderlodge recreational vehicle was damaged with chips in the driver's side window, most likely caused by a BB gun.

June 20
Criminal damage: Damage was reported to a sliding door at a residence in the 6000 block of New Road.
Breaking and entering: A John Deere mower/tractor was stolen at a residence in the 4000 block of Barrington Drive.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen and the passenger in the vehicle fled on foot at McQuaid's gas station, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested on a disorderly while intoxicated charge in the 5400 block of White Beech Lane.
Criminal mischief: Glue was put in a door lock at a residence in the 4000 block of Heritage Drive.
Theft from auto: Items were stolen from a vehicle at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
June 21
Theft: Smokeless tobacco valued at $700 was stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Passing bad checks: Someone used two counterfeit traveler's checks at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Receiving stolen property: A Youngstown man was charged with receiving stolen property, including a Chevrolet Colorado and some credit cards, at Oak Street and Madison Avenue.
Auto theft: A 1997 Nissan Sentra was stolen from the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A woman's purse was stolen at Wedgewood Coin Laundry, 4286 New Road.
Theft: A check was cashed under false pretenses for $3,900 at Advance Check Cashing, 3700 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Road.
Theft from auto: Fuel was stolen from a vehicle at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Fuel was stolen from Shell gas station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A contractor took money and didn't finish the work at a residence in the 3000 block of Brandomyne Avenue.
Breaking and entering: A pressure washer was taken from an open shed at Arby's, 4440 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Fuel was reported stolen from Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
June 22
Theft: $21.70 in gasoline was stolen from the BP gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: Damage was done to the bay doors at Less Electric, 1090 N. Meridian Road.
June 23
Criminal trespass: A summons was issued for a man for trespassing at the Rebel Truck lot, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Aggravated robbery: A clerk was robbed at gunpoint and about $5,400 in cash was stolen at Fuel Mart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal damaging: Windows were damaged at a residence in the 4000 block of Woodgate Street.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft from auto: Tools were taken from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Criminal damaging: Windows were damaged at a residence in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.
Property damage: A vehicle door was damaged at Save-a-Lot, 1715 S. Raccoon Road.
June 24
Theft from auto: Money was taken from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Nassau Drive.
Theft from auto: An Alltel cell phone was taken from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Nassau Drive.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Unknown items were taken by two females at Aldi's, 3863 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A wallet was stolen at Giant Eagle, 52 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive on charges of drug abuse of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse.
June 25
Drug offense: A Girard man was arrested on a charge of drug abuse cocaine at Chipper's, 5 N. Edgehill Ave.
Breaking and entering: Office equipment was taken at Financial Concept, Mahoning Avenue.
Drug offense: Drug paraphernalia was found in the 100 block of South Main Street, and turned over to police.
Recovered property: Several CDs, possible theft from auto property, were recovered in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.
Criminal damaging: Two men were issued summonses for using fireworks to damage a mailbox on Penny Lane.
Criminal damaging: Roof shingles were damaged by juveniles during a sleepover in the 30 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Auto theft: A 2005 Ford box truck from Budget Rental was stolen while parked at the Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Blvd.
