Themed dinners will benefit Ashtabula Arts Center



ASHTABULA -- The Women's Service League of Ashtabula County Inc. is sponsoring a series of themed dinner parties, titled "Dining for the Arts," as a fund-raising project.
Each dinner is hosted by one or more volunteers and is held in a private home. Those attending pay a set fee to attend one or more dinners of their choice. All proceeds will be donated to the Ashtabula Arts Center.
Dinners still available include:
UHawaii 1325," July 30, beginning at 7:30 p.m. This poolside evening will be hosted by Dr. William and Joslin Seeds and Jeff and Kim Coxon and will include a traditional Hawaiian dinner, music and island festivities. Cost is $75 per person.
UTaste of Tandoor," Aug. 20, beginning at 6 p.m. This traditional Indian feast is being hosted by Drs. Ashok and Nafisa Kondru and will include such delicacies as shaami kabobs, papdi chat, grilled shrimp and more. Cost is $85 per person.
UEvening in Korea," Sept. 16, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by the Rev. and Dr. Moon Yoon, this casual evening meal will include Korean favorites including kimbob, kimchi and mandarin chicken. Cost is $50 per person.
UTea at the Gilded Swan," date and time to be announced, is being hosted by Elaine Swanson and Tony Cantagallo. This event will be a traditional English high tea. Cost is $25 per person.
