CANFIELD CITY
June 6
Theft: An in-dash CD player, driver's license, Social Security card, purse and debit card were stolen from an employee's vehicle in the parking lot at Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.
June 7
Assault: Police arrested a 19-year-old Alliance student after striking a 16-year-old Salem student in the face with a steel-toed boot at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. The victim suffered minor injuries to the right side of his head, face and the right eye.
June 8
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested a 27-year-old Girard man for possessing drug paraphernalia, a small green bowl with a brass tip, the smell of marijuana and burnt marijuana residue during a traffic stop at East Main Street and the cemetery. Police also found a pipe in his pants pocket.
June 10
Drug paraphernalia: Police charged a 40-year-old Youngstown with drug abuse, obtaining and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a silver pipe that looked like a marijuana pipe on him.
June 11
Drug possession: Three men were arrested on separate charges after a traffic stop at Edwards and West Main streets. A 19-year-old Canfield man was charged with drug abuse, and obtaining and possessing a drug, after police found a green pill on him confirmed as being Ecstasy. Police charged two 18-year-old Canfield men with underage possession of alcohol.
June 12
Shoplifting: A woman was detained after trying to leave the store with a buggy full of groceries. The suspect told police she didn't know where she was or where her car was.
June 13
Menacing: A Blueberry Hill resident was threatened by a man who came to her house in the 600 block. The suspect said he would beat both the woman and her mother with a baseball bat, but fled after she called 911.
June 15
Drug possession: Police arrested a 44-year-old Niles man and a 47-year-old Warren woman on drug charges at East Main Street and the parking lot at BP gas station. The man was arrested for possession of crack and the woman for possession of a bottle of various pills.

June 13
Drug offense: Police arrested a man for possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Oakwood and Lexington avenues.
Breaking and entering: Numerous office items were taken from Hanna Cleaning Service, 5204 Mahoning Ave., Suite 110. Entry was gained through a window.
Arrest: Police arrested a man for stealing gasoline at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Credit card fraud: Unauthorized charges were reportedly made to a credit card by a resident of the 3000 block of Robert Frost Drive.
Theft: A plastic pot was reported stolen by a neighbor in the residential 4000 block of Aspen Drive.
Theft: A girl's bicycle was stolen while another was dumped in the residential 4000 block of Kerrybrook Avenue.
Burglary: An ex-boyfriend is a suspect in a burglary in the residential 6000 block of Ridgeview Avenue.
Theft: Plastic bags were stolen out of a trunk at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: Police arrested a woman for theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal mischief: A liquid fish solution was poured into a vehicle at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
June 14
Theft: A front registration plate was stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of Westchester Apartments, 4821 Westchester Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a man for stealing a pack of cigarettes at Sheetz gas station.
Theft: A purse and its contents were stolen at Burger King, 5310 Mahoning Ave.
Drug Offense: Deception was used to fill prescriptions at Walgreen's, 5501 Mahoning Ave. Police charged a Boardman man with a drug offense for providing false or misleading statements to obtain reimbursements for a medical assistance program, and a Struthers woman also made the false or misleading statement for the assistance program. She also was also charged with filling two false prescriptions. She had a blank, pre-printed prescription slip.
Suspicious persons: A 9-year-old boy was offered candy by two men in a vehicle in the 300 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
June 15
Sex offense: A man was seen exposing himself in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Credit cards were taken and charges made on it.
Theft: A woman is accused of taking credit cards and making charges on them in the residential 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.
June 16
Criminal damage: Twelve windows were damaged in the residential 800 block of Victor Court.
Theft: Two 24-packs of Budweiser beer were taken by a man at Sheetz gas station.
Assault on a police officer: Police arrested a man and placed him in Mahoning County jail for assaulting a police officer in the rear lot of the Austintown Police Department, 92 Ohltown Road.
June 17
Auto theft: A 1996 Pontiac Transport minivan was stolen from the parking lot at Westchester Apartments, 4833 Westchester Drive.
Vehicle theft: A 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot at Westchester Apartments, 4833 Westchester Drive.
Auto theft: A 1990 Oldsmobile Silhouette was stolen from the parking lot of Compass West Apartments, 990 Compass West Drive.
Vehicle theft: A 1992 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot at Compass West Apartments, 850 Compass West Drive.
Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was entered and a CD player taken from a vehicle in the residential 200 block of Rosemont Avenue.
Breaking and entering: A building at the Austintown Police Department range, 104 Ohltown Road, was broken into. Graffiti was written on the building, but nothing was missing.
Vehicle theft: A 2003 Kawasaki Ninja line motorcycle was stolen from the residential 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Two mountain bikes were both stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.
Attempted theft: A rear hatch on a vehicle was damaged in the residential 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Eight DVD movies were stolen from Video Warehouse, 4774 Mahoning Avenue. The suspect fled in a red Honda Civic.
Aggravated menacing: Threats were made to a 10-year-old boy in the 200 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Theft: A temporary tag was stolen from a vehicle at Wal-Mart.
Animal cruelty: A dog and four puppies were left with no food or water for five to six days in the residential 500 block of Westgate Boulevard.
June 18
Breaking and entering: A 500-foot, 350 pound coil of copper wire valued at $500 was taken from Santone Electric, 1700 block of South Raccoon Road.
Drug Offense: Police arrested four Austintown men for various misdemeanor drug offenses in the parking lot at Chippers, 5 N. Edgehill Ave. Two men were charged with possession of marijuana, and the other two men were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A truck wheel and tire were stolen from the TA Travel Center, 5400 76 Drive.
Theft: A 20-inch bicycle was stolen and a 20-inch Huffy bike was left behind in the residential 300 block of Westminister Drive.
Drug offense: Police arrested a man for drug possession at Washington Square and Kirk Road.
Drug Offense: Police arrested a woman on felony drug charges in the 1000 block of Orkney Road.
Disorderly conduct: A male suspect was issued a summons for disorderly conduct in the residential 3000 block of Burkey Road.
Receiving stolen property: A woman was placed in county jail and a 2000 Ford Explorer recovered after an arrest at the TA Travel Center.
June 19
Burglary: A list of missing items was to be provided to police after a burglary at a residence in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Vehicle theft: A 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from the Fifth Season Restaurant, 7098 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Entry was gained through a side door at a residence in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A rock was thrown through a vehicle window in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown onto a vehicle in the residential 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.
Breaking and entering: A lawn tractor and chipper/shredder were stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
