XYOUNGSTOWN -- Joy Elizabeth Blasko of Boardman and Joshua Matthew Dunn of Negley were married at 2 p.m. May 21 at St. Patrick Church by the Rev. Gregory Salomone of Washington D.C.
After a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the couple left for a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They live in Canfield.
The bride is a daughter of Michael and Rita Blasko of Youngstown. The groom's parents are Ronald and Cindy Dunn of Negley.
The bride's lace-up gown featured a draped satin overlay, strapless bodice, A-line skirt and chapel train, and was embellished with Swarovski crystals, seed pearls, beading and sequins.
Wine-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kerri Blasko, and the bridesmaids, Alison Blasko, Molly Blasko, Nattalie Dattilio, Abby Dunn, Jenny Hammond, Tami Franklin, Jennifer Colla, Hillary Skok, Shannon Valentine, Rachelle Severn and Allyson Kosisk. Jr. Bridesmaid was Tess Blasko, and the flower girl was Gia Almasy.
Zac Dunn served as best man, and groomsmen were Michael Blasko, Gregory Blasko, Scott Blasko, Doug Dattilio, Mike Strohecker, Jerod Berger, Doug Hamsher, Steve Freer, J.C. Parker, Mark Cox and Craig Gyergo. The ring bearer was Hayden Dattilio.
The bride, who attended Youngstown State University, is a sales representative with the Ohio Lottery Commission in Youngstown. The groom, a graduate of Grove City (Pa.) College, works in human resources at Sherwin Williams in Cleveland.
