High school all-star softball game Monday at McCune Park



CANFIELD -- Thirty-six recently graduated high school players will compete in the 2005 High School Girls Softball All-Star Games on Monday at McCune Park.
Start times for the doubleheader are 6 and 8 p.m.
Coaching Mahoning County will be Fitch coach Melody Rice and her assistants Terry James and Steve Ward.
Three of Rice's Falcons will play for Mahoning County: Andrea Lucente, Jennifer Purnell and Breanna Alleman.
The other Mahoning players are: Maureen Cearfoss and Alessandra Parry, Ursuline; Ashley DiDomenico and Emily Hayes, Boardman; Gina Brunetti, Kaitlyn Bernat and Dana Palazzo, Mooney; Kristy Hertz, Poland; Danielle Dewitt and Heather Snyder, Springfield; Michelle High, Michelle Zanni and Nicole McGuire, Struthers; Stephanie Zunic and Danielle Spencer, Canfield; and Skye Walley, South Range.
Champion coach Cheryl Weaver will lead the Trumbull team, assisted by Howland coach Andrea Ferenac.
The Trumbull team players are: Liz Berg, Badger; Kristine Troyer, Bloomfield; Trisha Rowles, Bristol; Alyshia Brink, Champion; Taylor Cribley, Christine Govan and Tempest Zigler, Warren Harding; Danielle DeJulio, Hubbard; Monica Baytos and Brittney Binko, Warren JFK; Kate Barnett, Lakeview; Courtney Gibson, Lordstown; Brittney Spencer, Maplewood; Katie Garland and Kaili Gehring, Mineral Ridge; Lindsay Calland and Lindsey McCartney, Newton Falls; and Nicole Ullinskey, Southington.
