REUNIONS



XEast High School Alumni Association will have its second annual recognition dinner dance from 6 to 11 p.m. Aug. 12 at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman. Tickets are $25 each, and the evening will include a social hour, dinner, cash bar and a disc jockey. Appropriate attire is required. All proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund for the new East High School. The Classes of 1964 and 1965 are also sponsoring events that weekend, but the alumni association is not involved.
XThe 41st annual Finamore reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 10 at Mahoning Valley Gaelic Society, 3495 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Members of the Donofrio, Lazazzera, Latessa and Santucci families are invited. Those attending are asked to take their own picnic basket; beverages will be provided. XHubbard High School Class of 1960 will hold its 45th reunion the weekend of July 1-3. On Friday a get-together will be held at the home of Dick and Gayle Lee (Kerrigan) Glasnapp, 484 Fifth Ave. Ext. Hubbard. Classmates will tour Hubbard High School during the evening. A golf outing is planned at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pine Lakes Golf Course with Steve Gleydura serving as chairman. That afternoon, the Hubbard Historical Society will host a tour of the McBride House. The group should meet at 1:30 p.m. at 27 Hager St., Hubbard. Saturday evening's reunion at the Brentford House in Hubbard will get under way with a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. A class picture will be taken at 7, and dinner and a brief program will follow. Dancing will be from 9 to 11 p.m. A breakfast-brunch Sunday will be held at 10:45 a.m. at Frankie's Main Street Cafe in Hubbard. XA 45th reunion will be held for Mohawk (Pa.) High School Class of 1960. The event will be a picnic at 6 p.m. July 30 at the home of John and Rita Lamb, 162 McKim Road, three miles south of Mount Jackson, Pa. Hot dogs, buns, beverages and table service will be provided; classmates with last names beginning with A through L are asked to take a covered casserole or vegetable and those M through Z, a dessert. The event is open to all classmates and spouses or guests; no reservations are needed.
