MTC Knights win 7-6 behind Gozur's 4 RBIs



WARREN -- Rick Gozur drove in four runs as Bud's/DiCioccio defeated MTC Knights, 7-6, in Class AA baseball.
Gozur and Shane Davis had three hits each for Bud's while Kinsey Henderson had two. Davis and Mark Nightingale each scored twice as Anthony Albanese picked up the mound victory.
For the Knights, Nate Radtke and Brian Tate had two hits apiece while Mike Rupinsky drove in two runs.
In other games, Nick Zajaczkowski and Josh Miller each had a pair of hits and starting pitcher Ted Sulich threw five innings as Metro Ice defeated Youngstown Gibson Governor Insurance, 4-1. Cliff Panezich finished the game, earning a save.
Penn Ohio defeated Gibson Governor, 3-2, as Adam Morgan was 2-for-3 with a double. Relief pitcher Steve Liebal pitched the last two innings, striking out five for a save. Jeff Claar got the win.
Roth Brothers defeated MTC Knights, 7-2.
Rupinsky was 2-for-2 with a double and Vasili Pahoulis was 2-for-4 with a double. Rick DiMuzio had two singles.
Youngstown Tri-County defeated LBW Red Dawgs, 14-4. Nate Daugherty was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.
Tri-County also defeated Predator Trucking, 3-2.
Pitcher Jonathon Camuso threw all seven innings, giving up only six hits.
