One defendant was let out of jail to await action on unrelated gun charges.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Four loud music citations were issued to drivers who mingled with a large crowd hanging out in a parking lot after 2 a.m. on the East Side.
Among those cited early Sunday at Albert Street and McGuffey Road was Ronaldo Miller, 21, of East Dewey Street. He was arraigned Monday in municipal court and is due back July 13 for a pretrial.
Miller and his companion made news a month ago when shots were fired at them from a car passing by the Wilson High School prom. Both face gun charges. Miller was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, illegal conveyance of a weapon onto school property, obstructing official business and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $150,000.
Miller didn't have to post bond to be released from the Mahoning County jail, which is under federal court order to house no more than 296 inmates. Miller was released May 27, the warden said Monday.
Miller's charges were sent to a Mahoning County grand jury May 31. The case is still pending.
