XYOUNGSTOWN -- Cheryl R. Freeman, 344 Cabot St., and Nicholas Kovalscik Jr., 229 Upland Ave., were married May 14 at the gazebo in Fellow Riverside Gardens.
The Rev. Juliana (Rudolph) Hosey officiated at the 10 a.m. ceremony for the daughter of Annie M. Rudolph, 832 Plazaview Court, and the late Phillip Rudolph Jr., and the son of Nicholas Sr. and Rosemary Kovalscik, 1122 Boulevard of the Allies, Pittsburgh. A reception followed at Fortune Garden restaurant in Liberty.
The bride wore a traditional princess-style gown encrusted with beads and styled with chiffon overlays, a peplum and chapel-length train.
She is a lab clerk for St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown and a Realtor after attending Hondros College in Akron and earning her real estate license.
The groom is a precision press operator for Lexington Connector Seals and former manager with US Air at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Vienna. He holds certification in airline and travel from Boyd Career School in Pittsburgh, welding from Jefferson Technical Institute, corporate management from Brockway Glass Corp. and airline security from Helliwell Corp.
