MTC Knights, D & amp;K post AA victories

WARREN -- The MTC Knights defeated Metro Ice 5-2 in a Warren AA League baseball game.
Derek Stanton was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two stolen bases. Pitcher Jeremy Hartman got the win, throwing all seven innings, giving up only two hits. Hartman also recorded 11 strikeouts.

Starting pitcher Jim Newbrough threw five scoreless innings for the win.
Penn Ohio's Adam Morgan hit a three-run homer and finished with two hits and five RBIs.
Catcher Pete Zock of Penn Ohio was 2-for-4.
D & amp;K Roofing 7, LBW Red Dawgs 6
Jason Williams had the game-winning RBI, bunting with bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning. Robbie Kay (D & amp;K) was 3-for-5, while Marques Shannon of the Dawgs was 3-for-6 and Shaun Balas was 3-for-3.
Jeremy Burnett pitched the last five innings for the win.
