MAHONING COUNTY Commissioners action

County commissioners approved the following at recent meetings:
An early-retirement incentive program for the county's Emergency Management Agency & amp; Communications. James Petraglia, county human resources director, said the program will save the county money and provide an opportunity for some of the younger workers who were laid off to be recalled.
An agreement with Applied Systems Inc. for $12,500 for the county's lead-abatement program to provide services to gather and analyze lead levels in order to determine the effectiveness of remediation control and to provide various training courses. The money comes from the lead-abatement program.
A $74,792 change order for Children Services Board with the Youngstown Central Area Community Improvement Corp. for the CSB building on West Federal Street. Denise Stewart, CSB executive director, said the money was for additional cabling, wiring and other items.
A $24,700 agreement with the sanitary engineer's office and Michael Benza & amp; Associates of Brecksville for professional services to prepare a survey and evaluation of the New Middletown Treatment Plant. Money comes from the sanitary engineer's budget.
A $1,978 agreement with Riverside Drives Inc. of Cleveland for emergency repairs to the pump drive at the Campbell Treatment Plant. The money comes from the sanitary engineer's budget.
