HUBBARD
June 9
Breaking and entering: A man reported someone broke into his home in the 100 block of South Main Street.
Breaking and entering: A Mock Street woman called police after someone entered a vacant apartment next door to her. Officers spoke to two juveniles, but neither was charged.
Damage: An employee at Steven's Optical, 104 N. Main St., found that a garage on the property had been damaged.
Theft: A woman in the 200 block of Westview Avenue reported the theft of her debit card.
June 10
Drugs: A man reported seeing two people in a vehicle smoking suspected crack cocaine near Bedford and Pothour Wheeler roads.
Arrest: Police picked up a Hubbard woman in Boardman who was wanted on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a driving-under-suspension charge.
June 12
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 100 block of Hager Street discovered someone had placed fecal matter in her swimming pool.
June 13
Theft: A motorist pumped gasoline and left a Shell True North station, 204 W. Liberty St., without paying.
Forgery: An employee at Patton's IGA Super Center, 880 W. Liberty St., told officers a woman presented a counterfeit check.
June 14
Identity theft: A woman in the 100 block of Cyrus Street told police someone fraudulently withdrew money from her National City Bank account.
Theft: A customer left a Shell True North station without paying for gasoline.
June 15
Theft: A man in the 700 block of Jones Street reported his car had been entered and his wallet stolen.
June 16
Identity theft: A woman in the 600 block of West Liberty Street discovered someone used her identity to try to remove money from her National City Bank account.
Breaking and entering: A woman noticed someone tried to break into her Mock Street residence.
Arrest: A Hager Street man surrendered to police on an outstanding warrant charging him with theft.
Auto theft/recovered property: After a woman in the 500 block of West Liberty Street reported her 1993 Chevrolet stolen, the vehicle was found near the Hubbard police station.
Arrest: A resident of John White Road gave himself up to police. He was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant charging him with one count each of burglary and theft.
LIBERTY
June 14
Stolen property: After running a registration check on a car and determining it had been stolen, officers arrested a Girard man, 29, in the 3000 block of Belmont Avenue. He faced a felony charge of receiving stolen property after police learned the license plates were stolen. The man was not charged with the theft of the vehicle, however.
Drugs: After pulling over a vehicle near Logan Way and Redfern Drive, police charged a 24-year-old Youngstown man with felony drug abuse. The officers say they found inside a pouch behind the driver's-side seat a plastic bag containing four individually packaged rocks of suspected crack cocaine.
