XLiving in Charleston, S.C., after a honeymoon in the Bahamas are Richard Lane and his bride, the former Krista Tomak, who were married May 21 in a late afternoon ceremony on the beach at Sullivan's Island in Charleston.
Chaplain Ron O'Dell officiated for the daughter of Joseph and Deborah Tomak of Boardman and the son of Richard and Nora Lane of Rosendale, N.Y.
The bride wore a strapless, tea-length dress of white chiffon. She was attended by Miranda Sabo of Boardman, her cousin, as maid of honor; Nora Snyder and Dacia Eginger, the groom's sisters of Rosendale, and Amy Anastasakis of Seven Hills, Annie Amaddio of Parma Heights and Missi Fox of Canfield, as bridesmaids; and Caroline and Abigail Snyder, the groom's nieces of Rosendale, as flower girls, all in black.
Teddy Hansen of Kingston, N.Y., the groom's cousin, was best man, and groomsmen were Leif Dervin, Jared Millwood and Randy Perry, all of Albany, N.Y.; Dave Merrill, Rosendale; and John Rutledge, Seven Hills.
The bride is a senior stylist and colorist for Stella Nova Spa Salon in Charleston after attending Kent State University and earning a degree in managing cosmetology at Ford Beauty Academy.
The groom is a petty officer second class in the Navy stationed in Charleston, where he works as a Naval law enforcement officer, and expects to graduate in December with a degree in history from the University of Maryland in Adelphi, Md.
