Nuptials planned for James Painter, Carissa D. Smith

XAnnouncement is being made by Donna Smith of Warren and Alan Smith of Youngstown of the engagement of their daughter, Carissa Dawn Smith, 215 Cave Run Drive, Erlanger, Ky., and James Alan Painter, 1767 Transparent Court, Hebron, Ky., son of Harold and Sue Painter, Cold Spring, Ky.
A 2:30 p.m. open ceremony will be held Oct. 1 at Summit Church of Christ in Cold Spring. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at the Hilton in Florence, Ky.
Miss Smith, a graduate of Hiram College with a bachelor's degree in biology, is senior aquatic biologist for the Newport (Ky.) Aquarium.
Mr. Painter is a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines in Cincinnati after graduating from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn.
