CLASS AA ROUNDUP Seventh-inning rally keys Bud's/DiCioccio
Ed Morales tossed a two-hit shutout for Youngstown Metros.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Bud's/DiCioccio, behind by a run, scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to post a 9-6 victory over Roth Brothers in a Class AA League game at Oakland Field.
Adam Cox singled and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt, then Ross Buttle was hit by a pitch and Dean Palombaro walked to load the bases.
Shane Davis singled home Cox and after a strikeout, Rick Gozur singled home Buttle and Palombaro, then Joe Marzano singled home Davis.
Frank Santore Cox, Gozur and Marzano each had two hits for Bud's (11-1).
Brian Frasco hit a three-run homer and doubled in another run to spark Roth Brothers (8-4). George Rohan added three singles, while Brent Timko hit two doubles and Jim Putko two singles.

Scott Bender hit a double and triple and scored twice for the Metros, while Josh Conkey hit a pair of singles and drove in four runs. Jonatha Habuda hit two singles and drove in three runs and Brent Parks hit a double and single and drove in two.
Willie Sly hit a double for Gibson/Governor.

WARREN -- Mike Van Dyke pitched a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts as Predator Trucking posted a 3-1 victory over LBW Dawgs at Packard Park's McGregor Field.
Jonathan Camuso got two doubles for Predator Trucking.

CMP scored at least one run in every inning but the seventh to prevail.
Chris Green hit a triple and single to spark CMP.
Ryan Dillon added a double and single.
In other games, Penn Ohio edged Metro Ice 8-7 and Bazetta-Cortland Optimists rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge CMP 4-3.
