Austintown Sweeney Chevrolet 5, Struthers Davidson Becker 1 -- Jake Volsko and Eric Archer combined to pitch a three hitter while striking out eight. Volsko also had two hits.
Austintown Sweeney Chevrolet 10, Lakeview Echo Builders 6 -- Anthony Ricci had three hits and four RBIs, while Vince Testa had three RBIs. Chad Burbrink, Eric Archer and Jake Volsko had two hits apiece.Astintown Greenwood Chevrolet 12, East Liverpool Red Sox 5 -- Brett Gabrick hit a grand slam and finished with six RBIs to spark Greenwood. Todd Mounce hit a triple, double and single. Bill Taylor added three hits, scored three times and drove in two. Tom DeToro hit a double and single, scored three times and drove in three runs. Kelly Emerlin hit a double for the Red Sox.
Babe Ruth (14-15s)
Line Drive 4, Astro Falcons 3 -- Mike Popio and Dean Porter each had three three hits and three runs scored to lead Line Drive. Corey Hill pitched six innings, allowing eight hits and striking out eight, and Daniel Kubala came on in the seventh. Astro's Shane Wagner pitched a complete game and added a double and single. Phil Woods had three hits and Nick Wiery two.
