XBOARDMAN -- The marriage of Nancy Lea Leffel and Lucas Vega of Youngstown was solemnized May 14 at River of Life Ministries.
The Rev. Howard Seidel officiated for the daughter of Jane Haldiman of East Palestine and the late William Leffel, and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gregoria Vega.
The couple received guests at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Poland before leaving on a honeymoon to Dayton.
The bride is an assistant manager of hot foods for Nemenz IGA in Struthers. The groom, who served in the Air Force from 1969 to 1972, is a shipping manager for Myco Plastics Corp. in Newton Falls.
The bride's white satin A-line gown was styled with a halter neckline embellished with embroidery, crystals and seed pearls.
Her attendants, in navy-blue dresses, were her daughter, Christina Wilczek, as matron of honor; her nieces, Jaclyn Leffel and Jessica Ludwig, and Jasmine Santos as bridesmaids; and her granddaughter, Sierra Wilczek, the groom's grandniece, Amelia Lopez, and his great-grandniece, Jazmine Iglesias, as flower girls.
Jeffery Lopez, the groom's nephew, was best man, and Joseph Campbell III and Eric Campbell, the bride's sons, and Anthony Roman, his grandnephew, were groomsmen. Nathaniel Lopez Jr., the groom's great-grandnephew, was ring bearer.
The bride's brother, David Leffel, escorted her and served as usher with Kevin Ludwig, her nephew.
