Mink's Grabman hits game-winner



Astro Falcons and Rondinelli each improved to 6-1.
STRUTHERS -- Brett Grabman's bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted Mink Financial to a 4-3 victory over Koch/Line Drive Monday in the Class B League.
Koch tied the score in the top of the seventh on Charlie Olenych's third hit of the game. Olenych also had a triple.
Grabman had a pair of hits for Mink (5-2). Cory Vukovic picked up the win in relief of Lonnie McQueen, who went the first five innings.
Rich O'Brien suffered the loss in a complete game. He had three strikeouts and walked five. Nick Turco added two hits for Koch/Line (1-6).
R & amp; J Trucking 5 Wharmby 4
R & amp; J Trucking scored two runs in the fifth inning. Jim Pasquine and Ed Rohan had two hits for R & amp;J (5-2), and Tyler Pearce got the win in relief as he went 4 1/3 innings, allowing one hit.
JC McCoy had a triple and a single for Wharmby (4-3), while Andy Chrobak (2-1) suffered the loss in relief.
Astro Falcons 4, Yo. Express 3
Kyle Smith struck out 12 and Adam Wigley had a triple and a single for Astros (6-1). Brian Balkovec had a pair of hits. Smith (2-0) allowed three runs in six innings, and Mike Swoboda struck out two in one inning to pick up the save. Josh McKenney and Jesse D'Amico had triples for Astro. For the Express (2-5), Brad Moody went the first 4 2/3 innings and took the loss. He allowed four runs (two earned), on six hits.
Livi Steel 17, Roth Brothers 1
Livi pounded out 15 singles and Marc Rossi tripled.
Billy Messer and Rossi had three hits each, while Stephen Hermann and Manoli Pahoulis had two hits apiece to support the four-hit pitching of Ryan Keller.
For Roth (0-7), Tyler Micsky had two hits.
Rondinelli 14, Dave Sugar 4
Rondinelli (6-1) had 14 hits and Tom Clayton drove in six runs. Clayton had three hits, including a triple and a double, while Dan Babyak, Corey Collins, and Matt Dado had two hits each. Vince Riola (2-0) allowed four hits and had five strikeouts.
Jordan Reynolds had two hits, and Dan Allison a triple for Sugar (3-4).
Warren AA
Tim McGoldrick had four strikeouts and allowed 10 hits in six innings, and he singled three times in Akron Blue's 10-4 win over Yard Cardinals. Brian Kochunas hit a double and single for Cardinals and had a pair of strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings pitched.
